Massive win for Nova and the league! We finished the year with 2 teams in the AP top 16, 1 in the NET top 16 (with UConn just outside at #17), and 1 in the KenPom top 16. We have 2 teams in the Sweet 16, so I'd say the league has lived up to their pre-Tournament expectations. Would still really like to see 1 of the 2 make the Elite 8 and Nova seems more likely to do so.

This conference, the Big East Conference, needs all the positive representation it can get.
We are constantly undervalued, under-appreciated, and under-ranked as a conference. Using the ol'
"well Nova can get us an EE bid" is too often the fallback solution to our ails & ills. Then many of us turn around and
bitch cause no one else (other than Nova) is carrying the load.
Besides, Prov has a better 'thug-n-mug' game than the chickenhawks...

Now is the time to root like hell for Cooley and da Friars to help rewrite the narrative!!!

GTMO- well said. If I were to pick my first preference of course would be for both Nova and the Friars to advance, and my second preference would be for just the Friars to advance. Having seen Kansas play several Big East teams this year (including the Johnnies) I think they'll be very difficult to beat, but I'd love to see it happen. Regardless though it's been an extremely successful season for the Friars and they've done more than anyone could've expected.
