If PC had lost 7 of those close games, and we sat at 19-10 and 8-9 in the BE, sportswriters would be saying "the 11-seed Friars are an upset special to make the Sweet 16-- did you know PC has 7 losses of 3 points or fewer!!! look for them to bounce Iowa and Alabama!!!"

Instead it's, "PC has x close wins. 12% chance they'll beat the Rabbits".

P.S. when my son was 8, he made up a fake baseball team on PS4 named the Spokane Runnin' Rabbits... does this mean PC will beat both the Jackrabbits and Gonzaga?

it's just among the games to "keep in mind." The algo he's using only gives SDSU a 33% chance, so the computer picks PC.

I think that's exactly what it means, Billy. Here's to PC beating both SDSU and Coach Fraaaaaannnnn like rented mules. Do that and we'll worry about the Zags next week.

I think Providence and Wisconsin(and actually Colorado St) are pretty important teams this March. If those 3 were to flame out early, you just know the call will be more and more about the predictive metrics.
