Yeah, this being a Big East board and Xavier being the only BE team currently on the bubble, it helps. BUT, I don't think X gets in with just a Wednesday W at MSG. There is way too much opportunity for movement in these large tournaments.

IMO, Indiana would be in if they make the B10 Finals because there would be multiple additional wins.....likely a marquee one. Same with Florida, no? Hell, I think if Oregon/VaTech make their Championship, that spells trouble for X.....it's even possible with BYU.

Also, if Drake beats Loyola for the 3rd time Sunday, that steals a bid because LUC has a strong enough NET to slip by. What about Davidson. Do they get in without an A10 crown? Probably, if they lose a close one in the finals.

Any/All of these scenarios would adversely effect a 20 win Xavier team that hobbled to the finish line.

#notconfident

the one plus from today was all the carnage under the cutline- 4 of the 1st 7 out lost and only Loyola won. And Indiana and BYU just above the cutline lost. That's a really good day for Xavier TBH. I think Xavier is heading to Dayton for a first four game.

A lot of teams locked up their bids today imo. Looks like 10 teams will be fighting for 6 or less spots.

Mountain West - 4 bids
WCC - 3 bids
PAC12 - 3 bids

Who could've predicted this before the season started?

Yeah and if one was going to get a 4th one- the WCC far more likely than the Pac 12. Just comical.

Houston@Memphis tomorrow is interesting. Xavier wants Houston, but UCONN and Providence prefers Memphis win.

Yeah. Another one where different teams in league are rooting different- Michigan @ Ohio St. Xavier obviously rooting for Ohio St(I know, pretty weird) but UConn rooting for Michigan.

Lunardi has Creighton and Xavier both in the group of last four in, but with a bye so avoiding Dayton. Don’t love that spot with a lot of bid stealers lurking around.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Another game where it's a damn shame that both teams can't lose. I almost think I'll go Houston for Creighton/Xavier's sake and for the epic meltdown of another NIT for Memphis.

Good thing Lunardi is not good at Bracketology.

looks like he's got them as the 7th and 5th teams in right now.
Bracketville has them as the 8th and 5th teams in right now.

Looks pretty close to me. I think that's going to be a typical place for both of them right now.
