Fun game in a fun atmosphere. Great job by the Friar fans and I’ve been a big fan of Cooley and really like this PC team. Watson and Bynum were a problem for us.

Anyone unfamiliar with BE basketball would watch that game and come away impressed. Offensively Nova played an A game. Defensively a C. Credit both coaches in knowing how to exploit what the other team likes to do on defense. I fully expect to see more of a rock fight in the return match as per usual Nova-PC games.

Friar fans, have read some takes on your board that Nova simply won’t shoot as well next time and PC will cruise. Maybe. But I would also caution you on that simplistic take. Nova also missed 3 front ends last night that they normally bury. Could have just as easily been a 10+ pt win. Bottom line both teams missed some opportunities and both teams will adjust for the next game. Looking forward to see it play out at the Finn.

I don't think next game will be as close only because it's your senior night. That place is going to be rocking. PC didn't look like they had an answer for Gillespie at all. To include inside.

Prov needed to win last night. 99.98% they lose in Radnor. So much for the Reg Season Championship season.
They will get plenty of 'rock fights' these next 4 games... and at least 2 more losses.
Should they lose at Butler & Radnor - there goes the RS Champeenship.
Both X and Cr8n are capable of winning at the Dunk.

@Butler
X (Dunk)
lil Cr8n (Dunk)
@Radnor

The only thing I'd bet on in the rematch is that there won't be 173 points scored...just a gut feeling. Most Nova's given up at the Finn this year is 62 (I think) and the most they've scored, outside of Howard and The Mount, is 75.

I'll be taking the under...whatever the number.

Edit: Looks like Howard scored 81 at the Finn, to Villanova's hundy.
