Following up...

Leading up to Georgetown 87... we were 14-3 but weren't sure what we had... we were nervoys about possibly getting crushed by 40 points, which would bring us back to suckitude.

Tonight it's a different vibe. If we lose by 30 it'll suck, but there is no question that we're a great team and program.

If we win tonight, it'll be amazing of course, and we'll have Final Four possibilities running thru our heads

I feel like channeling my inner gitmo here.

billyjack, you're my guy, but does anyone up there actually think that the Friars are Final Four contenders? I am pretty underwhelmed every time I see them and I don't think they would be a one loss league team if they had to play all of their games to this point.

You are what your record says you are, so credit to PC for chalking up a huge win column.

This isn't a hill that I am willing to die on and I hope that the Friars prove me wrong, but I am just not seeing this group as a elite team.

If we were to win tonight, we'd pass another test... we'd show that we continue to be capable of beating top teams.

I think the key is that *this year*, every team in the Top-10 is beatable-- we're not going to see Zion Williamson... instead we may bump into teams that lost to Rutgers.

And any team that gets a 2-seed or 3-seed automatically enters the Final Four conversation, right?

I'm not expecting a Final Four, and we could easily not win another game like Gtmo is expecting, lol. I'm just saying it becomes a possibility.

To be honest, the biggest factor game to game for PC is finding out who is reffing.

If i see dipshit Brian O'Connell with his beautiful mane of white hair tonight at the Dunk, then we lose, no question.

If either or both of James Breeding or Pat Driscoll show up, then we're royally f-cked.

If none of those three are present, then we hsve better prospects tonight.

Screw factors:
O'Connell is a factor of say 25.
Breeding is a 8 alone.
Driscoll is an 8 alone.

Breeding + Driscoll = 20 (+4 tandem factor).

Any other combination of three referees is a 0, neutral.

This applies for each remaining game the rest of the season, including the tourneys. It also applies next season. And in 2024. And 2025. And 2026... 2027... when are these a-holes going to retire?

O'Connell- reffed Butler/St John's a week ago Saturday. Reffed @ Delaware last night #28 according to KP
Breeding- reffed Georgetown/DePaul on Wednesday. Hasn't reffed since Thursday #42 according to KP
Driscoll- reffed UConn/St John's on Sunday and was @ RI last night #11 according to KP
