CBS Top 25 and 1 out today; 4 BEASTs in the mix: Villanova at #5, UConn at #14, Seton Hall at #23, and Xavier at #26. Also, Matt Norlander seems to have his own "Hey 19" ratings at CBS now, and he has Providence at #16 (but neither Seton Hall nor Xavier) in his top 19.) Bracketologies (either Palm or Lunardi) have all 5 of the above teams in the field. Both Kenpoms and Sagarins have the BEAST as a top 4 league. Bottom Line: Looks like another pretty good year for the BEAST!

All we need to do is close out OOC strong against B12. That would be a good boost to keep us in the top2

got like 12 other pretty big games besides those B12 games as well...
Nova- vs Syracuse
UConn- vs St Bonaventure
Xavier- Cincy
Creighton- vs BYU
Marquette- @ Wisconsin, UCLA
Butler- vs Purdue
DePaul- vs Loyola, @ Louisville, @ Northwestern
Georgetown- @ South Carolina, Syracuse

and there are a few others that are really close as well- tricky ones with-
Seton Hall Rutgers, vs Iona
Providence Rhode Island

That's 15 games there. Add to the 9 and you're up to 24 games. And only have left 41 OOC games total vs D1 schools so almost 60% of the remaining ones are tricky or tough.

And the thing about those 24 games- they all happen here in the next 2 weeks or so(and really in about 10 days). Starts tonight with Kansas @ St John's. Start of a really tough weekend where league projected to go only 5-5 vs D1 with St John's, Marquette, DePaul, Xavier, and South Carolina all projected to lose. Real shot this weekend to make a huge statement.

UCONN starters Tyrese Martin out at least 2-4 weeks & Adama Sanogo out 2 weeks or longer with injuries. Not the best time to lose them considering the December games on deck:

vs Grambling St.
at West Virginia
vs St. Bonaventure
vs Providence
at Marquette
at Xavier
