I don't do moral victories anymore, been doing that for years.
This loos is a killer. Wish we had a tournament, to get a few quality win, but we don't.
Thanks to shitty scheduling now we gotta wait until December 3rd, we need to beat KU at Belmont to have something on our ooc resume, sorry but pitt is dog crap.

I CAN NOT believe the absolute Rob-Job by the refs in this one. I haven't been this pissed for a non X game....maybe ever. Felt like vintage Assembly Hall crap from the Bobby Knight days! How many f'ing bogus charging calls did them f'ers gift Indiana? At the same time swallowing their whistles on clear charges down the stretch on the IU end. The Flagrant 2 call in the 1st was so soft that the guys in the booth were shocked it wasn't a standard shooting foul. That 7 point swing was clearly the difference. Johnnies got shafted without the benefit of Vaseline in this one!

Johnnies with a ballsy comeback just came up short, but way to represent the conference., and you guys look like a NCAA team for sure.

Butler just didn't have the horses tonight but had a tough matchup and are still finding thir rhythm.

Nice comeback but I'm done with the moral victories too. If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. A win is a win, a loss is a loss. We now put ourselves in the ridiculous position of needing to beat Kansas to avoid sweating on selection sunday OR having to beat all the top teams in the Big East at least once if not sweep one of the top 3 teams. That's how huge this game was. Whenever we get a chance to get out ahead and save some "money in the bank" with a good OOC win, we come up short. We never make it easy. It's always "almost" in Johnnie land. This is the last year of Champ who is a clear cut All American and possible lottery pick. There is no next year. This year or bust.

I think the key absolute must win game now is the Pitt game in December. Otherwise looking at 8-3, and with nothing close to a Q1 win at all. Would force St John's to need at least 11 conference wins to get to 19-12.

If the conference is weak, yeah you guys really needed last night's game. If the conference is a monster like 2019-2020, 10-10 record gets you in the tourney comfortably with no bad OOC losses.
