Just announced: https://www.bluejaysbasketballfanfest.com at the CHICO...
This is new...as CU doesn't normally do a Midnight Madness type event. Kudos to the players. ;)

Will be interesting to see what uni's that Lawlers (sporting goods) comes up with. Can't use any university gear. Could become instant collectibles for the fanbase!

Just announced: “Bluejay Basketball Fan Fest” on Saturday, October 23. Midnight-madness style event at 7:00pm at CHI Health Center featuring a 3-point shootout, dunk contest, raffles, autographs and more. This is a NIL project hosted by the players (not a university event and not planned by Creighton Athletics) -- headline sponsored by Silverstone Group with other big name partners signed on as well. Guessing that means the revenue goes straight to the players and that they're splitting the gate, but I don't know how the financials will work for sure yet.

Tickets are $5 here:

news article... https://omaha.com/sports/college/creigh ... ed_OWHjays

According to the article this is the 1st MM event in six years for the Jays. Similar events have been put on by UK, Cincy, and DAYTON so far this year.

Cool event. I know OSU is letting players use unis and OSU branding but I don't believe any Big East school is doing the same.

Why not?

Not sure, I'd guess most schools are waiting to see how everyone else handles the new NIL landscape.

According to Jon Rothstein, Georgetown’s Tre King is not enrolled and is off the basketball team…..seems like the Hoyas can’t catch a break….

Excellent news! Couldn't have happened to a nicer group. The only 'breaks' the hangin' sacks players need is both arms, both legs, and a neck! Hoyer Saxer!

(Yes Sir...the HATE goes way back...to 'back in the day'. They'd turn up their noses, flip us the bird, and say "f-off lil Creighton"! Gtwn deserves every bad thing that comes their way.)

OH, How the Mighty have fallen!!! The Radnorites are next on my list! luv ya, gtmo

The ONLY THING better than beating Nova??? Kickin' that Hoya bootie, with regularity. :o

David Duke got his training camp contract converted to a two-way deal on NBA cut-down day yesterday. Good news for the young guy.
