Here are the Big East standings as we head into the new year.

It’s a small sample size, but have we learned anything so far? Thoughts? Surprises?

I think Xavier and Villanova has improved the most since the start of the season.

I feel like the Big East will get 5 NCAA bids: Nova, Creighton, Xavier, Seton Hall and UConn.

I think if Marq. can get to .500 in league they are a L-O-C-K. 2 top 10ish wins already; those will serve them well. They've had the toughest schedule in conference so far. It'll turn for them and they'll start climbing IMO. And their youth will start to grow up as the season progresses.
