Great game but inexcusable to lose to a team coming off of a covid pause.

LOL, PC was not on pause. All the teams they were scheduled to play have been on pause. PC has been fully practicing.

My bad. That makes a lot more sense given how well they played.

And of course fitting that the game after being saved by travel call, SHU gets beat by one going uncalled. That's how it goes I guess.

Anyway, 2 OT games and a buzzer beater so far today, let's see what SJU and Grown has for us.

Am I allowed to call BS on finishing seventh in the BE this season?

Considering it's probably like 50/50 that 3rd and 7th are separated by 1 game or less, it's too soon lol

If anything, 2nd to 7th appear to be evenly matched so far. Win the conference and call it a BS, it's too early.

If/when Bynum can find his shot, Providence is going to continue where they left off last year. It's ugly as hell to watch, though.

Kunkel looks to be on a Sunday stroll while taking the buzzer beating shot.

I guess you were feeling pretty good about him when he fouled for the 4 pt. tie it up shot.

Nope. If it was even an off week or something I wouldn't care. But it's BS that someone comes on who wasn't in the scouting report. Should've been eligible right away for sure but stick to the decision that he's ineligible or make the right one. Do you think it's coincidence he has a career game when he wasn't scouting?

Dude, you're thinking of Ben Stanley, who became eligible along with every other remaining D1 transfer. Marquette had two games of tape on Kunkel at Xavier, not to mention multiple previous seasons of tape from before Xavier where his game was pretty clear. Regardless, "they couldn't put together a scouting report" on a single player who played for 17 minutes is just whiny nonsense.

Games today were crazy entertaining. I just sat back and had an awesome day enjoying them. League play is going to be a blast all year.
