Well if that is the case then CB better be the clear #2 on CU and they better win the conference outright. We know he’s not better than Marcus Z., and not sure I’d pick him over either Mitch or Denzel as the clear #2 Jay. Then you need to ask if he’s better than any combination of: Gillespie and JRE, Mamu, Carton, Scruggs, Duke, and Bouknight, for starters.

I’d put a gentleman’s bet on your prediction. I don’t see any path for a guy who is an A+ glue type player. He doesn’t seem to be an Alpha by any stretch. 1st team All-conf is all about being an Alpha IMO.

He had a nice freshman year (6.7pts/.9asst/1.3reb) and I think he projects out to a solid 4-year contributer who should contend for All BE honors as a senior (maybe even as a junior) but I don't see anything historic here. Maybe he'll take a huge jump and surprise me, but I see a good role player for this year rather than a star. Give the kid some time.

I think he will be one of the better scorers in the conference as an upperclassman, but man, his defense is *bad*. He basically couldn't see the court in the second half of the game versus Bradley because of his defense. With how bad he was at defense last year, I completely understand him not being even ranked.

I agree on both points, I think he has the potential to be an excellent player as an upperclassman. For his sophomore year, if I were an X fan, I'd be thrilled if he could average a fairly efficient 10-15ppg and be something better than a turnstile on the defensive end. It would show growth that makes the star X fans think he'll be a realistic possibility for his senior and possibly even junior year.

That’s a lot of alphas to jump but I still think he’s got the hops to do it (without diminishing Z’s alpha status). How about I scale the bet down to more than 1 all BE 1st team projection by the end of February? We can do a one month avatar and signature bet.

And Gumby, nothing disturbing with the Avs, I will go with JREs pic and you would be CB. We choose the others pic tho, has to be complimentary (ie, I wouldn’t get to post JRE getting stuffed by Kalkbrenner or anything :D)

Ha ha I can see you saying that like my favorite line from Fletch.

Ok it’s on! Thanks for playing. One thing I also have going for me is that when Z gets player of the year he will leave 5 spots on the first team all Big East squad for his teamate THE BISHOP!

Analytics site's player ratings for BE has Bishop 4 and Watson 37 through games played 12/6.

LOL, Analytics? Let me guess numbers 1-3 Zegarowski, Ballock and Jefferson?

This is no longer a guard's conference. Too many dominant big guys.
