Nova's 1 for 11 in 3 point shooting and still able to lead ASU by 9. JRE is the man.

Nova picks up more hardware for their trophy case. Congrats!

Clearly, the class of the league.

Are we the only major conference that has won all of its OOC games at this point? I know it’s early, but not a bad run.

Nice solid win for Nova. JRE is on another level.

Excellent first 2 days, easily could've lost a few of them. Considering this year we're playing half as many OOC games, starting 11-0 is basically like starting 22-0 in prior years. That's for the conference overall, not individual teams.

Mamu might have something to say about it but I think BE POY will be a two horse race this year: Z and JRE. He’s just starting to show his considerable skills. 23 & 9 averages vs 2 major conf teams and scored from everywhere.

It was great when he swished the 3 that forced Hurley to call TO. He doesn't have to shoot a ton of them, but make some open 3 and he's safely in the lottery imo.

It looks like Nova's starting lineup is the death lineup, but we have a questionable bench.

Yup, the Big East and Patriot League are the only unbeaten conferences after 2 days. That faces a big challenge tomorrow though with SHU a 6 point underdog at Louisville.

Yeah, that was a statement game for JRE. The BE POY possibilities just got interesting for sure.

Zeg & Gillespie vs the field? Pre-season that would have been a pretty close call. Now I think the field has to be a clear favorite.

Nova player vs the field? This could be a tricky wager. You now get Z on this side of the ledger + Duke, Mamu and Bouk with all his hype, as solid contenders. Of course there will be several additional guys break out and become stars. I'm thinking if Dawson Garcia can continue to channel Luka Garza....yikes!!

BTW- You were spot on about Samuels being the 4th scoring option. He seemed to get lost in the flow due to the steady barrage of shots from the other 4 starters.

Your bench could end up being a nagging problem all season, but the BBall IQ of your starters should keep foul trouble from being an issue. Besides, even though your subs are frontcourt heavy, the fact that you start 3 guards negates any real problems flooring a balanced 5. Even if a minor Covid/injury situation should occur this doesn't drop off that much.

Lastly......where the hell is Antoine??

Impressive win for Nova. Looks like Jay Wright just added VaTech to the schedule on Saturday night at Mohegan Sun. Hokies were originally scheduled to play Temple, but the Owls are on Covid pause.

Antoine is hurt. He didn’t dress for the games this weekend. Same for Cosby-Roundtree. I think Dixon is going to give us some solid minutes this year and the hope is Antoine gets healthy eventually and can provide a spark off the bench.

It’s like the Wild West for scheduling this year...love that Jay W wanted to take advantage of the Mohegan bubble and squeeze another game in. VTech Saturday night then back for St Joe’s Monday. 4 games in 6 days will be interesting to see. 2020. But as a fan I love just seeing them play again.
