This is a BIG event. Lots of high quality teams from smaller conferences. Louisville/Seton Hall is must see TV!

For sure. The Louisville game is obviously huge but even Winthrop is a fairly dangerous season opener. Not sure what they lose from last year but if it's any indication, they're no pushover (won @Saint Mary's and played respectably @Duke). With the rest of SHU's OOC schedule including Baylor, @Penn State, @Rhode Island and maybe Rutgers, they'll need to beat some tough teams to bring a good record into conference play.

Now.

How about they replace Utah?

Rumor is South Dakota State but they need to get out of another MTE first.

I just read that Ohio State had to drop out because the positivity rate in South Dakota is 50 percent??? And that would force the Buckeyes to quarantine for 14 days upon return to the state. I assume that means Dayton is also going to be forced to drop out?

WOW, Hoyas vs Mountaineers is must see TV! Wahab and Tshiebwe in a true old school slugfest. They should wear Big East throwbacks for extra effect!! Truly 2 of the best young Bigs in the country.

I know I'm on an island here, BUT I am predicting G-Town to be sneaky good. They won't have much quality depth but Pickett, Blair and Wahab will surprise.

Xuper, my man. You're Always on an island, but that's why we luv ya. "sneaky good"?? Just what does that equate to in W/L's (8-12, 10-10, 12-8)?

I just got a feeling Ewing and Orr can get more than expected out of this group. Yes, they have to be the youngest roster in the BEast, but if they can find some production out of their freshman they will be competitive. 4 Star Jamari Sibley could surprise and that kid Holloway might get some traction. I think they have a serviceable Arkansas transfer to go with Pickett, Blair and Wahab. I'm expecting Wahab to become something special and Pickett to be in the All BE conversation. BTW, if Blair can channel what he did at Cintas as a freshman, he will be a solid deep ball threat....8-12 is doable.
