He gone. WCC will be down for a while, maybe a long while. The AAACK must be regretting the invite.

When Alterique Gilbert announced his transfer to Wichita, the first thing I said on the UCONN board was that given Gilbert's mental health issues, I wasn't sure playing for Marshall was the best choice. If Marshall doesn't get canned, I hope Gilbert gets the f outta there.

Meanwhile Mike Rice yawns and mumbles: "unimpressed."

Sounds very similar to the Mike Rice fiasco at Rutgers. We'll see if things play out differently when we're talking about a "winning" coach.

I hate hearing stories like this. I wonder what led the players to talk?

I'm kind of guessing players were asked by reporters after how many transfers WSU had after last season.

Gregggggg is the whiniest prick ever to walk a sideline. If he did what he is accused of, he’ll get what he deserves.

Terrible allegations, but incredible journalism and research here. Most unfortunate. This is another prime example of why institutional fits are pivotal for conferences and expansion. If WSU goes through a rebuild, and fails to reach same success under Marshall, what value do they bring to the AAC? The answer is, of course, very little or none.
