Trying to compile a list like this without some wildly exaggerated slotting is nearly impossible. That said, these guys have put together a really nice website and seem to be quite knowledgeable overall.

However this Bouknight lovefest continues to be real head scratcher. The #9 player in THE COUNTRY? Again, he is obviously a fine player, but in what reality is he 109 slots better than Justin Moore? He doesn't have that much separation from KyKy Tandy IMO. From what I keep seeing, there are a S-LOAD of pundits out there that expect a whole LOT of MJ type highlights from Bouk, but I strongly think that the top defenders in this league will make that some heavy sledding.

XUP-- that is an interesting perspective. I too think Bouk is a heck of a player, BUT to your point, 109 slots ahead of Moore is a big miss. Either Justin Moore is vastly underrated or Bouknight is vastly overrated---and likely some combination of both. Personally, I think Moore is by far one of the best players in the BE and I'd rather have him than Bouknight, but that is Nova shaded glasses speaking. If Gillespie (who's development has been astounding) was not on the team, Moore would be a pre-season 1st team candidate. He is really strong, has decent quickness, a good outside shot and a fantastic stutter / hesitation step. Is much better at D now too. He is a special player. If he continues to develop like he did, I truly believe after next season he will test the waters.

Curious to see KyKy's development this year. I think he can be very good. Has the physical skills and should be a year stronger after the freshman obligatory introduction to the physical nature of the game at this level. When X and nova play, I am really looking forward to seeing how Bryan Antoine does (after a year of healing and gym work) against KyKy and other top guards.

Yeah Chap,
I predict that Moore will produce at a very high level in all categories. Teams will be forced to focus on the havoc that Gillespie creates with his elite points+assists combination. I'm sure GQJ will insist that CG feeds JRE a LOT MORE for post scoring opportunities, and will certainly look to Samuels to do his thing 1on1 from the perimeter. With the VAST expected floor spacing, Moore WILL benefit greatly from this and IMO end up posting better overall numbers than Colin.

Conversely, the "over the top hype" on Bouk will demand he draws the BEST defenders that the BEast has on a daily basis.....Unfortunately for him that will certainly create problems, statistically and physically, coming off much weaker AAC competition. IDK if he, or most that see him as the next big thing, realise how physical this league is.

BTW, Antoine is not in the most desirable situation. Unless he is embarrassing guys in practice, where is he going to get any significant PT? Daniels IMO looks to be the real deal, since he was last seen going thru the aforementioned AAC gauntlet with EVERYONE laser focused on stopping him to NO avail. The guy will produce....but GQJ could end up limiting his floor time to keep Antoine happy.

BTW, the Moore, Bouk, KyKy, Gantt scrap for SOPH accolades will be very entertaining... :D

All these guys are playing b-ball at this level for a reason - a combination of talent and confidence - but Moore strikes me as being a truly unflappable talent.

good stuff... in terms of Antoine and obviously with no inside info- (who the hell has that these days!!! ) and it may me wishful thinking, but I think that 5 star status is going to show some. I think he is 1 more year away from being THE guy, but will have an impact. You are correct, Daniels appears to be the real deal. That said, don't be surprised if Gillespie, Daniels, Moore and Antoine aren't on the floor together for some brief spots (when either JRE or samuels is getting spelled) or when Daniels or Moore take a break. Jay will of course have Gillespie play 100 minutes if he could, but he can actually get some rest this year which will be nice. As is always the case with Jay... whoever plays Defense and gives 100% will get PT. according to Instagram and Twitter, Antoine has been working out / bulking up a lot over the summer---granted that could be from 170-180 lbs, lol!..

That is a pretty compelling list of soph players, no doubt.

This Nova squad is fascinating. You talk about talent....with ZERO incoming frosh. Man, GQJ knows what the F he's doing!

If Dixon can/will flex some muscle, how does that effect how Swider/Slater factor in? DCR will continue to be a mere role player via JRE, while Antoine has to be riding some high anxiety to make his mark. Will Arch 2.0 ever make it from the walk on section?

I see 4 guys at 25+ minutes per, barring the inevitable blow outs, so how does Coach keep everyone on point?

You guys are living the days of wine and roses....truly blessed!

Xuperduper. I beg your forgiveness and leniency for modifying your post. All in good Radnor fun.

Too many irons n not enough fire?

There's gonna be a bit of discord in BE Heaven this season.
Jay's not that good of a juggler and the Radnorites have a ton of balls in the air.
Da chemistry's gonna be VERY Touchy for Nova faithful!

Yo GTMO,
You are THE cosmic pulsar of BlueJay optimism. You are the ultimate drive here fueling the overwhelming expectations coming out of Omaha....so revel in the expectations.

However Z, IMO, is not even close to the 3rd best player in the nation (as listed above) when factoring in the athletic/physicality metrics. Plain and simple..not in the same zip code. BUT he is definitely a pain in the ass for any opposition.

CAN'T wait to see his production with out defenses focusing on TSA.

Any idea who the 3rd team behind them is? I presume Georgetown and DePaul then...Butler?
