More lofty expectations for UConn. Everyone seems to think that the transition to the BEast will be an easy one despite losing there top scorer along with their top assist man. I think it will take some time to adjust and expect them to struggle, especially if the early conference slate is not favorable.
X and MU flying under the radar IMO.
Every supposed expert on college basketball always writes the same crap about defense for us. Never mind the past two years we were actually decent at it and wojos first year we actually rated well in Defense. But they've latched onto the 16,17,18 seasons and figure "MU doesn't play defense under Wojo"

Just curious if anyone here agrees with Rothstein selecting the soph Bouknight over the senior Scruggs? One would think that the jump to the Big East will present some considerable challenges, no?

That said, any 2nd year Bouknight achievement, with out factoring in the jump to the BE is foolish. Would you really take Bouk over Moore?...not me. I'M thinking Bouk has to stand in line behind Scruggs, Moore, McEwen, Ballock, Thompson, and even Carton or Aiken.
I'M calling BS....Rothstein seems to be WAY OFF Here.

I think Moore becomes more efficient, Weems makes a jump and a couple of transfers work out, pushing the Demons into the 8-9 range. They were close last year.
