To all of our UConn fans, we welcome you to the Holy Land of Hoops message board. The Big East has changed quite a bit in the past seven years. I think you'll find we have become a more unified group of schools, separated from much of the larger college landscape, because we are basketball schools first. Our love is basketball. We recognize that UConn athletics share that philosophy and we welcome you home, back to the BIG EAST.

That's been one thing that the private schools have seemed to hold dear that everything could be kept private, but with the addition of a public institution some of the behind the scenes stuff will now be open for the world to see.

UConn has a pretty good team - maybe not as strong as they've been in the past, but still strong.

I think if you're hoping they'll lose every conference game this year, you're going to be disappointed.

DePaul lost some good players, but has some pretty good talent coming in this year. I think we've got a legit chance to beat UConn in the BET, though.
