IMO Centurylink is too big to be consistently filled with noise. When it does though, its something to behold. The corny music that plays during media timeouts has always made the place seem more like an NBA arena to me than a college one. Our student section probably doesn't help in that regard either, although if we get a top 25 ranking this season I'm sure they'll turn out more than they have the past couple years. 50% of the fans that go to games are families with either young kids or older parents, so the average fan isn't going to be completely raucous and fired up for the entire game.

Without a doubt, Creighton sparks FEAR into their opponents when playing at home. 90% from the Mascot

Yeah, but they do scare the other Creighton fans, so there's that.

From Providence student basketball reporter Thomas Zinzarella (https://twitter.com/zinz21/status/1256764165621940224) on Twitter:

"On IG live, Seton Hall F Sandro Mamukelashvili stated that the Dunkin Donuts Center was the toughest Big East road game he has played in.

Mamu: “I hate that place. If I could eliminate a game from our schedule it would be Providence all the time.”

Welcome to the Dunk."

Dunk is definitely tougher than I gave it credit for when this thread was created, I never feel comfortable when X goes there.

The Providence mascot is the most terrifying by far!

Especially when accounting for the chance you may be playing on ice. After seeing how many players go down from their condensation issues (particularly sore spot for Hall fans after the Dunk messed up Desi's knee his senior year), if I were a player I'd have no interest in playing there.

Isn't the Pavilion in Radnor the toughest venue? Nova is 62-3 at the Pavilion since the reconfigured BE.
...and that includes 2017 when they didn't play there due to the remodeling of the place.

I love when we play there. I believe that only Butler has knocked us off in that arena over that past 6 years whereas PC (2x), SHU, & CU (2x) have all beaten us down at the WFC in South Philly. Though there is some disagreement among the fanbase as to seat assignments. Much of the big donor "wine and cheese" class of the fanbase get the prime seats close to the court and can't be bothered with making noise. But there are some funky sightlines that opposing teams certainly seem to struggle with.
Go Nova!
