I think the injury to Thompson hurt them during the middle of conf play when they stumbled a bit. He was a really good defender and steady on O. I thought Jordan did a great job overall. They’ll miss the guys leaving for sure but def have some pieces coming back that will form a pretty good nucleus. I expect BU to be top half of the league and a tourney team again next year. Tucker needs to step up and be a go to guy IMO. He’s got too much talent just to be an average contributor. He needs to be a 15+ pt per game guy at minimum.

Butler has made the dance 4 of the 7 years (5 as they would have made the 2020 Dance) in the Big East, only missing in 2014 & 2019. They have consistently
won 20 and have been in the upper half of the conference. No one has given the Dawgs anything...they have earned respect.

Butler has been a team I have never held in high esteem. This year has changed my opinion. I drafted both McDermott (3 pt shooting) and Baldwin
(fallback after missing on other star guards) on my BE Fantasy team. After relying on both all season I have newfound respect for Butler.
Both players were consistently high caliber players and teammates, with surprising reliability and durability. They done good.
I, for one, will not fall victim to underestimating Butler (Kmacker's boys) again.
