I see Mac and the Jays saw that is was March. Naturally, they get blown out by one of the league's bottom feeders. Btw St John's was missing two key rotational players and CU was healthy. St John's came into today being one of the league's worst 3-point shooting teams. CU came in as the opposite. Naturally, St John's catches fire and Creighton can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Big East title? Forget about that.

Sweet 16?? Forget about it. It ain't ever happening (barring an act of God). This is why Creighton always has and will choke in the dance. It's a tradition unlike any other. Saving the worst performances of the year for the worst possible time. Nobody else does it better than Creighton.

The most laughable of them all is Mac being considered for national coach of the year. While I was happy with success they had, I always knew it happened IN SPITE and not because of him.

CU and St J was the classic what happens when a great team plays bad and a good teams plays great... X and GT was who suffers through a tough day and has one more hose to ride in the end. Not a pretty day, but interesting none the less. Need to bring your A game or you've going home with a loss against anyone in the BE this year.

Yep. I normally avoid commenting on that aspect of the game. But they were brutal in both directions.

B- might work for a game against GT in DC, but for some damn reason they are better on the road... Our shorthanded C- didn't work at home against them...

We have had like 3 white out games that I can remember mostly against PC and im pretty sure we've lost them all. But I bought my white out shirt and Anderson bobblehead on eBay so it's a great day for me! haha

I believe there were 10 total offensive fouls called in the game between the two teams. That's a stupid number of offensive fouls in the first place, but then like 8 out of 10 were garbage.

NJ, we blew out South Carolina like 5-6 yrs ago in a white out at CA too. It's amazing what happens when you give all fans free shirts and free bobbleheads that look cool. Diehards always go, but casual fans need reasons to go. People go nuts for shirts. Anyway, nice win...would be nice to win one of these when it actually meant something like bumping us from a 6 seed to a 5 seed one of these years, but baby steps I suppose. I'm not sure if CMA is the guy for the job or not ultimately, but he definitely has the players playing their backs off. Creighton is a good team and never in anyone's wildest dream did we think we'd shoot 50% from 3 all game let alone 63%. We won't shoot like this again, but nice to see CMA's .500 or better streak may still happen if we beat Marquette.

How the hell can any St. John’s fan NOT be sold on Anderson??? This is the best your team’s been since the 16 team Big East and you have about 1/10 of the talent. You’re in every game, your guys play tough, what the hell more does he need to do? This team wasn’t going ANYWHERE and Mike Anderson is probably leading them to the NIT or CBI. What’s wrong with that for the roster he had to work with? Give the dude a couple years with his own guys.
