The Jays are tough. Hopefully you guys are ranked on Monday because you deserve it. Creighton will be dancing in March.
Happy that we closed it out. Mahoney with a shot clock beating deep three and then Ballock’s corner three were huge. Jays still have two games to go with Seton Hall including a season ender in Omaha. Would love for that one to have some meaning.
Good to begin the stretch run with a W. Thanks Chesty.
Nine games left with 2 vs the Johnnies, 2 vs the Pirates, and 1 with Butler. None of the games are "gimmees"...gotta earn your laurels in this league.
On to the Dunk... Roll Damn Jays!

Today was far, far worse. The hustle stats tell you everything you need to know about their effort. 51-22 on the boards is absurd.
That said, it likely may have been the better result for the league. And hopefully a wake-up call for the Pirates.

Yeah, Xavier is probably the best of those 4 teams but what's going to hurt them is their lack of quality wins. They'll have plenty of chances, though.
really only 4 chances left now. Seton Hall, Nova, and Butler twice.... And that's assuming they win all the other games- with 4 of the 6 games being on the road.
Ok, who kidnapped gtmo and what have you done with him?! I thought he would be predicting a FF after this win!gtmoBlue wrote:Relax dJango, relax. While today's W was a great win, it was only 1 win. Nine more to go in the RS.
Nine more big games in conference play. Now is not the time for overconfidence.
Let's see if our Jays get ranked...AND if they are able to handle it/hold on to the rankings for more than1-2 games.
