Wait, I thought I read somewhere that Tulane really isn’t that bad. I forgot who said that.

Would be great for UConn to knock off Wichita State today for a lot of reasons.

UConn has some alright talent, but boy do they do a bunch of dumb shit. Gonna lose to Wichita in a game that was there to take.

They just had a St. john's - Seton Hall play in OT. UConn successfully saved the ball in bounds but the refs incorrectly called it out. Not reviewable so WSU ball.

#3 Gilbert on UConn is a turnover waiting to happen, I've lost track of how many times he has left his feet driving to the hoop without a plan. He's got to have close to 7 or 8 TO's.

BTW UConn loses in 2 OT after Wichita blew a 9 point lead with a minute to go in regulation.

Halftime
Chiefs 28
Texans 24

Ultimate “wait, what?” for anyone who turned it off after the first quarter.

Definitely not a "power" conference, and another example as to why Katz rated the WCC as a tougher league this year. Wichita State couldn't beat a simple 1-2-2 full court press to end game today. If UConn didn't commit numerous unforced turnovers or miss an abundance of FTs, they would have lost big. Memphis isn't as high as some projected. Over half the league already has 6+ losses

I can see them getting 4 bids, but only due to a bid thief, not because it is a deep league. Depending on how conference play shakes out, the bid thief could be the 3red team too.

Power status is a financial term.
