Great Cintas crowd and atmosphere and a national audience was a great time for the Jays to start hitting 3s again. Crazy how athletic X is, I had that game marked as our third loss but everyone stepped up. Great game!

Creighton is better than I gave them credit for preseason.

I believe EVERY year since joining the conference, Creighton has ended at a higher position than the preseason predictions of the Big East coaches ! I don't know if any other team could say that. I will leave that up to the quant guys that are on the board.

Halldan... your boys look really good. We all knew about Powell and the scoring and even more recently with Gill around the rim. But what really impressed me today was the defense. Really strong and did a great job forcing Howard into some rough shots and he got tired. You guys look excellent right now and even have Sandro waiting in the wings. As is often the case, when one of the main players goes out if frees up a lot of time for some of the other guys and they will be very good bench players come tournament time. Seton Hall against Butler is going to be one heck of a game..
