Disagree with you. You can tell what a conference is going to get somewhat seed wise based on the OOC records. Right now, the conference has 18 OOC losses, and a .7831 winning percentage. It's most likely going to get into that same range that the league has been in every year but 1- .745-.770. Now, we don't know what the final conference standings are going to be- so you can't know exactly. But you know you get into conference play and it's a zero-sum game.

Also, teams improving during the season. While true, it's meaningless as games in Nov/Dec count just as much as games in Feb/Mar(I don't agree with it, they had a chance to change that- but refused when they did the NET). So the conference ratings are set at the end of December for the most part(outside of the 2-3 OOC games in Jan/Feb).

*edit* poached uconn from AAC since husky wants to feel a part of this conference immediately. they'll get more teams in but it's amusing to look at AAC's one bid.

Bracketville's 12/2, like Lunardi's this is before the BE ripped off 8 straight NET-friendly wins.

4 Seton Hall
6 Villanova
7 Butler
7 Xavier
10 Creighton
10 Marquette
11 DePaul
*11 UCONN
Georgetown 5th team out

Conference play determines the balance of tournament seeding VS number of teams in, while the OOC increase/decrease the capacity. Still a lot of work to do, but it's too early to make specific projections.

I expect to see the C back after the Oklahoma game, which is turning into a must win.

Bracketville is nonsense. The BE will beat up on each other without mercy...5 yes. Six maybe. Eight is ridiculous.
