Two Georgetown basketball players, Josh LeBlanc and Galen Alexander, were both served temporary restraining orders earlier this month in a pending civil case in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, according to court documents obtained by 247Sports. In a separate filing by a second plaintiff, a temporary restraining order was requested against Georgetown freshman Myron Gardner. LeBlanc was removed from the Georgetown basketball team for the season on Monday and later entered the transfer portal. Alexander, a junior forward, remains with the team, as does Gardner.
The plaintiff initially filed her complaint on Nov. 5, citing an “alleged burglary that I believe Joshua LeBlanc committed against me on Sept. 16, 2019. Joshua threatened bodily harm against myself and my roommate. He continued to threaten me verbally and via text message in the following week.”
The second complaint filed against Gardner on Nov. 12 accuses him of “sexual harassment and assault” on Sept. 15 at the plaintiff’s home. The plaintiff also accuses Gardner’s friends – LeBlanc and Alexander – of burglary of her home.
Earlier Monday Georgetown released a statement saying LeBlanc and star point guard James Akinjo would not play again this season. Both later entered the transfer portal. Akinjo is not named in any of the court documents viewed by 247Sports.
"Georgetown University men's basketball players James Akinjo and Josh LeBlanc will not be playing for the men's basketball team effective immediately and will not be members of the team for the remainder of the season," head coach Patrick Ewing said in a statement earlier Monday.

Wow! Reminds me of the old military days. We’re gonna “right size” this organization (for reasons both good and bad). Cut training and maintenance and double the workload for the remaining peons. “We’ll be fine.” Yeah right!
