2019 Gavitt Games thread

He's saying Georgetown looking bad is a mirage. Which I think is fair. Hoyas also struggled early out of conference but then went on to have some big wins, and finish tied for 3rd in the conference. Have a very bad habit of playing down to teams and are incorporating a lot of new pieces. I don't think we're nearly as bad as the first two games have made us look.

Nope I was wrong. We may be the wors tema in the big East. Terrible coaching. We have the orses, but we're playing terrible. Tryign to play it's like the NBA with a first team and second team, but the first tema can't defend and the second tema can't score. Coach needs to humble himself and play some zone we can't defend one on one. and we're not running and offense. Just horrible. Ugh. So frustrating.

depaul is definitely better than expected and i was pleasantly surprised by Butler, marquette, and seton hall. extremely disappointing performances by nova, prov, and georgetown. unfortunately, those bad performances overshadowed the good

What are the odds this thing will be renewed? I'm starting to think the B1G will decline and look for another conference to set up a challenge maybe they look to the PAC?

I am really sorry Villanova’s performance was so disappointing. I will talk it over with Jay Wright to see if there is anything Villanova can do to make it up to the rest of the Big East. God knows it is about time we step up and finally do something to help the conference.

FS1 will make sure it gets renewed to protect their investments in both conferences. It won’t matter much what the B1G wants.
