20 spots higher isn't drastic and I think the Hoyas are a better team overall. I think they should win. Not a blow out, but a win. Any word on Powell other than game time?

I get the feeling he's gonna play and Willard was blowing smoke about the extent of his injury from the start. Not a terrible idea, but I'm sure Izzo wasn't naïve enough to game plan with the expectation of no Powell.

SHU's an underdog tonight regardless - but Powell's status has been upgraded to game time decision. Maybe it's just gamesmanship to keep MSU guessing, but if he's ready to go, there's a chance.

I hope he is ready to go.

Georgetown does not look good this year. Almost beat by a bad Mount St. Mary's team and getting blown out early vs. Penn State. Nice job battling back a bit, but it's clear to me that Ewing is not going to be the answer at G'Town. So much size and talent on the team but awful results with a legitimately good team. G'Town has butter on their fingers. Awful.

The Hoyas look like they don't want to play this game. They remind me of the Norm Roberts SJU teams. No offensive sets or plays. Just throw the ball around the perimeter and then take a low percentage jumper. Those SJU teams would always fall behind early. They would beat non-con cupcakes, but couldn't come back against conference teams. It's very early in the season but the Hoyas may be in trouble.
