Seems kind of deflating to be aiming for a split tonight. The Providence game was a killer. Win that one and we could look to have our first winning challenge.

True, but that game is offset by the DePaul game which had the same line. Creighton, DePaul, and Nova were all underdogs.

We were expected to go 3-3 and went 3-3. We also won all all other games, including Xavier over Missouri.

Hoping for a split tonight.

SHU's an underdog tonight regardless - but Powell's status has been upgraded to game time decision. Maybe it's just gamesmanship to keep MSU guessing, but if he's ready to go, there's a chance.

Powell will play and the crowd will go crazy when he's brought out. Been following this closely the past week and I'd be surprised if he doesn't.

That said, will be a very tough game to win regardless.

At least Seton Hall has 2 7footers and mamu and they can even throw taurean and that freshman from Canada looks decent. Should be able to compete in the paint.

If Powell plays and he is healthy, I think The Hall is in good shape for the upset. I was not impressed with Sparty against Kentucky. They are big, but they seemed very slow. I think the Hall with Powell could run them out of the game. Without Powell I don't see them winning but who knows. The Hoyas need to get this done tonight. They are the better team and if they play like it we will get the W.

20 spots higher isn't drastic and I think the Hoyas are a better team overall. I think they should win. Not a blow out, but a win. Any word on Powell other than game time?
