Not sure The Hall has much of a shot without Powell but Michigan State did not impress last week. The Hoyas better not fool around with Penn State. Put your foot on their neck early and keep it there Hoyas.

He looked good, however I was expecting point gaurd qualities and he plays more like a wing. We basically have two shooting guards at pg now. He's long and athletic though a good change up from Howard.

Well that was disappointing. Well done by Marquette though. Hopefully we can sweep a pair of home games tomorrow, but we at least need to get the split. It'll be really tough for SHU against MSU but apparently Powell's now a game time decision. Him playing would be a huge boost even if he's not at 100% (though I really don't think Willard would play him at less than 100% so if he's in I think he's good to go).

What an embarrassment. Every freakin year. Same pattern for last 7 years. Life as a Friar fan. It's exactly like following the Red Sox or Patriots as a kid (70's and 80's).

Similar situation at Nova, except your guys are far better playmakers.

To the Xavier fan, I have respected you guys since you came here. Xavier has been one of the best and most consistent teams in the conference. Legit program. As for PC, I'm sorry but you guys almost never live up to your hype and I'm really rooting for you. PC has a cool coach who is funny and charming, but when it comes time to win big games PC always no-shows. Good recruiting, not much payoff. Make tourney but out immediately. No idea what happened to Nova but it seems they are like Creighton from their early Big East days...chuck and pray. When it works, you look great. When they don't fall, well...you lose and bad sometimes.

Mullin, I love Jay, wouldn't want another coach, but the chuck and pray method has been our strategy for some time now. "Shoot 'em up and sleep in the streets." Lucky for Jay he has had guys able to make it work for some time.

No excuses for last night, we didn't bring it, but the fact OSU was lights out did not help. Think they hit 4 straight 3s to get going. We did that to Kansas in the Final 4 in 2018. Sometimes when you throw an early knockout punch it is hard for the other team to bounce back. Unfortunately we were the other team last night.

I know I don't have to teach history to any Nova fans, but others may have already forgotten that Nova lost to Oklahoma by something like 30 points at a neutral site in the non-conference and went on to win the national championship - beating Oklahoma by 40 or so in the semi-finals. I wouldn't throw a Jay Wright coached team away on the basis of this one game.

Sounds like Orlando is the return timetable for Johnson.
