Val needs to find a way to get us off CBS Sports Network without giving up the CBS main network appearances

Why? It's only 18 games. FOX gets some money back. It forces other media members to cover the Big East.

Does it? I don't see any exposure benefits from being on CBSSN. Fox's production is just better and easier to access

The exposure is there. I hear guys who are on national shows like sirius xm, talk Big East because they work conference games on CBSSN. Lappas and Rothstein who make tons of radio hits. Same way Tim Brando does being on FS1. ESPN won't talk about the Big East, no need as they don't have the rights to the games.

We'd still have rights with CBS, just not with CBSSN. I don't think it's realistically an option to have the CBS games without the CBSSN games. Just my pipe dream. You make a fair point

The reality for the conference, though, is that there are going to be times when there are more than two games running simultaneously, and Fox Sports U/Fox Sports News aren't happening. CBS Sports is fine for overflow content - the focus should be getting more games on Big CBS, even if it comes at the expense of additional FS2 games going to CBSS, rather than getting games off of the CBS family.
