I figured we could use a thread to talk about the eyebrow raising results this season.

Tonight, power conference team Alabama lost to Ivy League Penn. I don't follow Penn but it feels like the Ivy has been more competitive recently so maybe this one isn't as big of an eyebrow raiser as I thought on first look.

Chicago State lost to NAIA Judson. Now, Chi St. is barely DI but you can't lose to an NAIA. You just can't.

Meanwhile, Grand Canyon lost to DII Davenport. I had thought that GCU was one of those mid-majors that was kind of on the upswing athletically but but wow.

Finally, what happened in Lincoln tonight? The Fred Hoiberg led Cornhuskers got blown out 66-47 by a UC-Riverside team that went 10-23 last year. What?
