DePaul played last night. I don't think they will play back to back dates until their Thanksgiving tourney. ;)

Not sure I've ever seen this in a non-tourney setting, but it does appear that DePaul plays again tonight.

DePaul added this game against Chicago so that they would have three cupcakes before traveling to Iowa next week. Why do they need three cupcakes before facing Iowa? Because Leitao was suspended three games due to the Rick Carter saga, and DePaul didn't want him to miss an early big season contest. I guess DePaul wanted to show it was serious about handling allegations within its men's basketball program, but not really if it came at the expense of any big games.

I remember when we suspended Buzz Williams a few years ago for the actions of Scott Monarch (then an assistant coach), but we didn't suspend him for a cupcake game early on in the season; we suspended him for the Big East opener against UConn.

obviously excited for my Johnnies, but am also intrigued by GTOWN. I have them shocking the conference and winning the regular season Big East crown. That is my hot take, feel free to make fun of me when they are somehow playing Wednesday night

I'll wait to give a judgement on Georgetown until a couple of games. They were so inconsistent last year it was hard to get a good read on them.
