CBS Sports’ two BIG EAST games include Butler at Georgetown on Saturday, Feb. 8 (1:00 PM, ET) and Marquette at Villanova on Sunday, March 2 (2:00 PM, ET). CBS Sports Network’s 2013-2014 slate of BIG EAST games includes multiple appearances from Marquette, Georgetown, Villanova and St. John’s. Highlights include:
Villanova at Seton Hall – Wednesday, Jan. 8
Georgetown at Xavier – Wednesday, Jan. 15
Marquette at Butler – Saturday, Jan. 18
Seton Hall at St. John’s – Thursday, Jan. 23
Georgetown at Seton Hall – Thursday, Feb. 20

DePaul and Seton Hall are all over this sublicense. 10 of the 15 conference games have one of those two.

Not sure I like this. I'm all for games on CBS but CBS sports net is a different story, mainly because I don't have that channel!

It's mostly a dump of games FS1 probably wasn't going to air, mixed with the CBS games and a few quality matchups for CBSSN. Looks like a good sublicense, to me. One way of looking at it, only two of the conference games on CBSSN pit teams that both went to the NCAA last year.

SHU + Depaul = NYC/NJ & Chicago market interests to CBS...makes them not minor especially given both programs will be improved.

I think you are misinterpreting the placement. CBS Sports Network would be a step down from FS1 IMO.

It could be worse. I get CBS Sports so I'm not too worried about it. The limited availability of the channel will definitely suck for some people.

If this sub-license didn't reduce the number of games slated to be on FS1 how does that matter? Fox has a lot of games to sell even if they air 100 on FS1.

Villanova and Georgetown get the big CBS national games. Anyone surprised? I'm telling you, with the exception of Marquette anchoring the Midwest, the rest of us are going to be treated like second class citizens compared to nova and gtown
