Seton Hall over Nova. Each with 5 first place votes which means one coach had Nova 3rd?
The coaches don't include their own team in their ranking so there are only 9 first place votes. Seton Hall received 5, Nova 4. No one voted Nova 3rd. By math, they were 1/2 on all ballots.
It is very possible you don't know what you're talking about. The poll I saw shows both teams getting FIVE 1st place votes. I think the standard is that you can't vote your team 1st BUT I'm sure someone here can clarify.

Also shocked Seton Hall edged out Nova as the Favorite.
Rest of the First team:
Alexander. Baldwin. Diallo. Howard. Marshall.
Second team:
Akinjo. Figueroa. Gillespie. Heron. Reed. Samuels
Honorable Mention Team:
Scruggs. Yurtseven
JRE FOY

Now that this has had time to sink in, it's hard to understand some of the selections here. Granted the 1st team was pretty much a given but the 2nd team is very questionable. one would think that both Jones and Watson deserved to be here, ESPECIALLY if it's the coaches doing the voting. 2 of the most physical guys in conference with outstanding numbers to back it up. I mean Figuroa over either one of these guys? And then there's Samuels. How in the world does a guy that averaged 6 points a game who's a mediocre shooter and rebounder, not to mention terrible from the line, make ALL conference? Must be based on that 1 game vs MU. I mean has there ever been a player voted ALL BE with those numbers? Got to be at least a dozen guys ahead of him.

What's up with that? They have seen Tyrique Jones for 3 years and they can't place him over a limp noodle like Samuels? I smell Nova bias. Ty is a BEast....no doubt!!! He will give all the little kids NIGHTMARES on the road this year.
