I don’t hold that belief at all, but I’m still very proud of that accomplishment.

So funny to watch nova fans implode over it though

How about making both a priority?!?!?! This is the whole point! You can do both! I mean that’s fine for you if you have that perspective just don’t come in here and talk down to the people who want to win both . It makes no f’n sense

I mean... sure? I'm not saying you can't be happy about winning it. I'll be happy if SHU wins it this year for sure, as I am for any trophy they win. But if I had the opportunity to trade it for the Big East tournament title? I wouldn't give it a second thought.

There are 5 trophies in play for Seton Hall most years (6 if you include the NCAA Regional) and I obviously want all of them, but 2 are just at another level for me.

“ When in Rome“ and all of that. This is the culture and tradition of the Big East.

Someone earlier made a good point about the Big East Tournament being more important perhaps because of the earlier imbalance for the conference with so many teams. That’s a very fair and good point to make.

Winning the regular season championship, especially in a conference like the BE, is a major achievement, period, end of story. But it is what it is with MSG and all the hoopla. So be it. Let’s go for the trophy!

Actually, a couple of folks made the point irt the unbbalanced schedules...one went so far as to speak to the BET as the final arbiter of "who's best"...back in the day. (that was the other guy.)

Thanks for the acknowledgement.

There is a trophy for the regular season? Seriously? I thought you just got the #1 seed in the BET and that was that.

Well perhaps at some point here X will have one of those shiny other ones that PC has sitting in their trophy case. I don’t think it’ll be anytime soon but, like your Final 4 aspirations: maybe someday.
Go Nova!

I’m glad they’ve been able to win a couple in their 40 years in the league
