The only point I tried to make here is that X make a substantial leap in class joining the NBE and in 6 short seasons have established itself the 2nd best program in conference by most metrics, so I for one will remain cocky with Good reason.

I think I'm done here assuming temptation doesn't get the best of me AGAIN.
:D

Ricky Bobby taught me everything I’ve ever had to know about second place. Not sure why you want to bumb your chest about second place. There is no doubt that X has been a good and improving program over the last 30+ years. Also no Big East fan would doubt that joining the Big East has helped Xavier’s recruiting and scheduling. But there is no need to try to tear down other programs to make yourself feel better. It shows a lack of confidence, which is why people are X fans out as a little brother. Again you can be proud of your team with class or you can appear to have a lack of confidence.

I for one am very thankful for how far Xavier’s program has risen in the last 30+ years. But we are not at the top of the mountain yet. So let’s concentrate on getting the program to the next level, instead of looking immature.

yikes... just checked, nova went a combined 19-65 in the last two xavier games last year. 29% sounds pretty bad, but i'm no math whiz

ha! convenient you left out game one in January where nova was 15/34. 34% for the 3 games (where Nova won 2) is ok, but it is still a successful formula given the volume of 3's nova has traditionally rained on you.... but you know that!

Hey, is anyone else super impressed by this guy dunking on high school kids?! I bet he'll do that all the time in the Big East from day 1! He should definitely be pre-season player of the year!

Oh lord...where is the humility? Where is the demeanor of service to others. These Xavierites have gone mad from reading their own press clippings. Let us all gatheer together in the spirit of gratitude over at
Bellarmine Chapel and repent. These Muskies can certainly use a bit of humility and to ask forforgiveness and the admonishing of their sins. It is evident that you Muskies missed the recent Mass of the Holy Spirit...
a tradition that dates back to 1840 at Xavier
. Obviously Fr Graham has been lax in his duties - as youse sinners deserve to be severely rebuked and lashed: ScoScox, XUsandy, Xuperrman, etc.

Nevermind the lashings...the rest of the league will supply massive and repetitive butt lashings during the season. Xavierites...
