Oh? I'm hearing alot of recruiting experts are saying that sju is in the lead. Just dont want it to sound like oh the only reason he isn't at shu is because they have another pg or he'd be there.

Anyway we'll see at 6:30

And I expect he will end up at SJU. Obviously fans of both will try to spin it to what makes their team look better - but it really doesn't matter. If he ends up at SJU, whether it was his top choice or fallback plan is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is he's there. Wherever he ends up, hopefully he has a good career.

Thanks guys! So happy to get Posh on board. His recruitment was a bit Scary but glad SJU won out. I saw a few of his videos online and he looked really athletic and Sporty. From what I’ve read, his maturity level is quite high so I don’t think we have to worry about him acting like a Baby. I’m off to celebrate with a Moscow mule (vodka and Ginger beer!)

Heard Macon was the lead.recruiter for Posh.
It's refreshing to have a good professional, experienced staff. Everyone on the staff recruits, not just one assistant.
A head could who don't disappear during the summer.

We're doing things the right way.
It's amazing what cma has done in just 5 months.

We're on the way back.

Adoraz could this end up being unironically our best class since realignment? How does it compare? Unfortunately, nova probably won't contribute much, but it seems like the league on the whole is recruiting better than ever.

We have 9 four stars currently committed to current Big East schools (so excluding uconn for now). I don't remember the exact numbers, but I think on our best years we've had 14-15 four stars total in a class, so to have 9 right now this early seems pretty significant.

Just taking a cursory glance over the top 150 prospects, Big East schools have crystal balls for:
#32 - Dawson Garcia - Marquette
#76 - Ben Carlson - Xavier
#90 - Nate Tabor - St. John's
#92 - Osasere Ighodaro - Marquette
#149 - Jakobe Coles - Butler

Seems like we're in a good position to have one of our best collective classes as a conference

Sorry didn't see this, it absolutely could be the best, or at least top 2/3. 2013 will be tough to beat but we are off to a strong start, and that is without recruits from UConn or Nova yet. I think Nova will get some late in the cycle.

As for 4 stars, I should dig up those lists again. I tried actually when creating this thread, but some of the 247 conference pages are kind of broken for these rankings so I got frustrated and gave up. On the conference pages some are listed as 4* but only 3* on top rankings page (both for Composite- it made not sense). Also the number of 4 stars varies by year, so I started just listing based on # instead.
