I knew the Johnnies would be last lol. In fairness though, I'd be surprised if we finish better than 8th.

NovaChap... to be honest I am lovng the potentials of DePaul this season. They have the makings of a monster with all the transfers and a top recruiting class. Problem is it may take some time for the transfers to meld into a team. Although 3 of the 4 have been there 6 months to a year.

I was tempted to pick Xavier as the top, then SH, then back to Nova. Giving props to the 5 of 6 years BE Champs...just because. This is a good year for change as 3 or 4 teams can win it. Will depend on whether SH and X can "step up" and take the championship? Nova will be vulnerable early and having to meld their top class into a team, so there is opportunity. Creighton (if healthy) will be in the mix-Lunardi currently has them a 5-seed/2nd in BE. Gonna be a great season.

I agree with you. Have said on the other board too, there is so much balance this year and Nova is Soooo young. Never really know how good frosh are until they play in the heat of battle (case in point... brunson vs quinerly). I think JRE will be very good from day 1. TBD on Antoine coming back from injury and then moore and dixon... just very young-not a senior on the team.

Hall, X, your Blue Jays, prov and the hoyas and marq..... frankly anyone can win it this year. Will be fun watching and i think several teams make splashes come tourney time.

How so? I’d say it’s about right, maybe 6 but where he screwed up IMHO is with Seton Hall and X, the Pirates and Muskies should be 4 and 5 not 6 and 11, but hey, it could help motivate Powell and Marshall so why not

I have to chime in here,
This "Wall paper" of Mintz chaffs my ars...however all of X Nation love building some good intense rivelry.

:D

In keeping with the topic on this thread. G-Town is my sleeper pick and a nightmare match up for my Muskies. Can any of you Hoyas comment on Pickett? Are you expecting him to finally get there?

Not sure.

Mixed reviews from Kenner league, but looked quite good in the Bahamas. Shot has looked pure and seems more confident. Handle is a bit better, but still needs work for him to finally get there. If he puts it together coupled with the other pieces we have watch out!

I just have a really strong feeling that Pickett will be a serious impact player for GU..AND Yurt7 is my POY Darkhorse.

Not to mention.....name me a more impressive 3 Sophs in the Nation. IF Ewing can build on his coaching chops, watch out!!
