Didn't realize there was a game to watch this week. 6pm scrimmage Wednesday, apparently streamable for free on Twitter. Nice little something in the midst of the dead season.

Nice. Can’t find much info on the team they’re playing. East coast USA b-ball or something like that. It looks like they’ll also be representing the us at the games and are a bunch of non nba pro guys. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s what it looks like.

This is apparently the roster for the select team serving as a practice squad. Looks to be mostly NEC and Ivy League guys, aside from Buddy Boeheim and Mooney from Notre Dame. Syracuse and the Boeheims unexpectedly being involved is a nice bonus.

EDIT: It helps if I actually include the link...

Good info.

Honestly, it stinks that this coincided with a year that half the conference is taking foreign trips. Both for me as a xavier fan and for the conference. Still excited to watch it and glad we have it just wish more of our guys would’ve been available

It's Ed Cooleys USA Basketball team-Panam Games vs a pro club team. Non NBA pro club team.

I don't think that's the case. Digging around on their website, East Coast seems to be a lower-level Team USA affiliate that arranges a foreign trip for a group of non-headliner NCAA guys every summer. It looks like they have some connections with some ACC and lower-level northeastern schools going over current/past rosters.

There’s a link to the twitter stream for the game tomorrow at 5 in this story, going to be fun to watch (and our own Matt Foley of course is always a reason to get psyched for Big East Basketball):

Commercial-free basketball is great.

Tyshon Alexander has been the standout so far. Team East Coast is obviously overmatched.

TSA is so damn smoove but the standout by far is Myles-Powell, the Hall is so lucky that he’s coming back because he’s going to have an incredible NBA career as a point guard

A couple of forced shots but great otherwise. Hopefully he's not injured in any shape or form.
