I know the Big East is an NFL conference and the Pack, Bears, Colts, Bengals, Pats, Jets, Giants, Skins are your teams, but who do you root for on Saturdays?

Easy for me it's Rutgers, i'm from Jersey, we both hate Cuse and Seton Hall and we both wear red. I don't live and die by them and actually work most saturdays but I am a casual t-shirt fan. Got into them when Schiano came on board and I saw the Leonard Leap live on TV and thought "Man this isn't the old Rutgers!"

My grandfather and father were Notre Dame fans, so my brother and I grew up as Notre Dame fans too. But when the Irish ditched the Big East back in 2012, i've lost a lot of interest in them.

I still get pissed thinking about Rocket Ismail's punt return flag in the 91 Orange Bowl and the 93 season where FSU was handed the title though they lost to the Irish 2 games earlier. But i watched the recent Irish blowout playoff loss really with no emotion.

I'm like a fan without a team. I always root for Navy and if they were in the poll i'd select the Midshipmen. I like UCLA cuz of my cousins in California. Wife is a Georgia Tech alum but i can't root for an ACC team. And now i will pull for UConn to with their return to the BE.

I guess the answer is "it's compllicated".

Don't have one. I think I'm cursed, tbh.

Can't say why, but I used to like Penn State for some reason. When I was choosing schools, it actually came down to Penn State and Creighton. I initially picked Penn State, but then realized I'd be one of a million people there, and chose the smaller school. Still stayed a fan of JoePa and his old school style. Much later, the kiddie diddling story broke, and I couldn't support a school that hid such a heinous crime.

So then I had a bunch of friends who went to Michigan State. Going to the bars with them was cool, so I started to follow them. And then Nasser story broke. Noped out of there real quick.

So, for the sake of the children, I've stopped following college football teams. I get all my stuff done on Saturdays so I can watch the Bears kick themselves out of the playoffs.

while living in Ireland I saw just how many jokes there are about Notre fans/students/alumni the best one I heard was this girl said to a guy "my great grandfathers from here and I go to Notre dame so I'm Irish!" And he said "well I've eaten at Taco Bell so I'm Mexican!" Never seen a college girl so humiliated from rejection in my life.
