He was specifically talking about the big east tournament.

The AAC commish sure is doing a lot of interviews about UConn for not being worried about losing them

They are not returning. Stop attempting to write revisionist history. Let the past stay in the past.

We have the current Big East now. The bickering over which iteration was/is the best is also old news. The OBE was what it was and this iteration is what it is. Let's all live in the present
with an eye towards our collective futures. We have a very promising future ahead of us. Let the past stay in the past. You folks keep nostalgically eyeing the rearview mirror and the Big 3 (Butler, Cr8n, & X) are gonna
dust your butts. Learn from history, don't keep reliving it. And stop playing Bayheim in the Garden.

Hey gtmo how about you stay in your lane out there somewhere in middle America. Without the original Big East, our current conference doesn't exist. Without that history, who would we be? Would we get any national respect? You want a history of the AAAAAAAACK? Just a random league with random teams with no connection? Respect the history of the league. You're part of it now, and you should be proud to be part of a league with such a rich history. Oh, and we're all still waiting for the Big 3 to show up at MSG in March. Any update?

I understand.

Then you added the point about the #1 Seed.

Then I thought about the fact that he led off with the idea of rich history for the conference. We're adding to that, so I popped in another point or two in order to waste some more of my Saturday. Then I caught the little blurb about the AAC commish and thought that would be fun to throw into this.

The AAC is such a formidable conference, you know.

I just discovered it the other day after the uconn news. I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to troll more UC fans.

There isn't a single original member of the Big East in the AAAAC but those fans act like they have some birth right to the name/history. They are not Big East they are Conference USA from 2007.

What is it about membership disruption in the AAC (2012, 2016, 2019) that causes everyone to lose their minds???

"UC has been a beast, they also play the big boy sport which is what drives the bus in college sports. The big east never understood this and still have no clue. They look at the small fry sport and try to talk down to far superior schools and it is so comical. Enjoy UConn women’s basketball and rowing, big move for big east. UConn literally just killed the biggest sport by far and the small minded northeast leaders don’t even know yet."
