Markus being able to play 2G and not handle so much of the ball-handling responsibilities will go far towards improving our offense. Koby McEwen is going to be a big addition for us.

Geez Louise what swagger, what confidence, what humility! The mainstream media is picking your team as a top ten team in the nation. Most of the pundits are picking the Warriors as the team to beat (champions) in the BEast and barbosa (jbarajas0490) declines the honor and deferrs to Nova? What a guy.

And Marquette fans have been clamoring for some sign of life since the reconfig of the conference. Now with this past season and the next they have something to get excited about, cheer for, and pin some great expectations on. Go for it!
Bask in it, revel in it, for the brief moment in the sun. Enjoy it and laugh, have a great hot chocolate with cookies, and run the season thru your head to see Marquette's championship play out. It's a part of that great experience in college basketball, no Golden State dynasty in college ball. The (Marquette) Warriors will probably choke, but better to have a new projected #1 than old faithfuls Nova and Xavier. Fresh perspective on the season. Good luck to the Warriors and to all.

Hard to get excited about a team that completely wilted when the lights shone the brightest. I figured that was something Creighton fans could relate to haha.

We didn’t require much wattage to wilt last year.

I guess I was spoiled by watching Wade, Novak, Diener, Johnson-Odom, Hayward, Butler, Crowder, even Vander Blue led teams get at least a couple wins in the NCAA. Seems like a life time ago now.

Now the team has turned into 3pt finesse team with one guy Theo who can play post defense. Correction Joey plays decent d also sometimes. Nothing but pretty boys jacking up 3's anyways just my 2 cents.

Marquette just didn't have enough guards on both ends of the floor. I know I sound like a broken record, but I would have really tried to get Elliott back in action last season.

Mathews Hayward Jerel and James all combined won 2 tournament games in 5 years and largely were regular season power houses. Get out of here with portraying them as some tournament juggernaut. Even Novak only won his freshman year with wade he then went NIT, NIT, First round. Denier first round, FF, NIT, NIT.

Of all the players you mentee the only ones that consistently won in the tournament every year they were there were crowder, DJO and Blue.

Also golden state look like a bunch of pretty boys shooting lights out? Because while you pout about the style being played I'll be out celebrating wins.
