Anyone would be an upgrade over Mullin. This will be interesting because no way can St Johns pay Hurley what ASU can if it gets into a bidding war.

This is going to be a great way to examine the health of the League. If St Johns can steal a highly regarded P5 coach that will be a big deal.

Sadly, this is what’s best for the program. I knew Mike Cragg was a great hire but this really proved it. This could not have been easy. I’m just bummed. Love Chris the player and the story could have been a great one but this wasn’t headed to a happy ending.

Good to see that the University has complete trust in Cragg to steer this program in the right direction. He passed this first test with flying colors in what was not an easy decision. Now time to close the deal on Bobby.

Feel bad for Mullin that things didn't work out for him. He just never seemed to have a good handle on the job. His teams always seemed too undisciplined for all the talent they had and never seemed to develop a rhythm. That being said, it would be great for St Johns and the league to get Hurley!!

We would've found a way to mess Owens up. Owens has a much better surrounding team than he would've had here. By himself he's nothing special but when he has a good team around him he can produce. Players play differently on different teams. We cannot develop players and we don't have a plan for them. It's just streetball.
