and the PAC12 is consistent crap

Big 12 in the last 15 years has had 5 final 4 teams. Pac 12 has had 4. And in years 16 and 17, the Big 12 had 2 final 4 teams each year.

Big12 teams actually advance to the 2nd week. It's hard to sugarcoat the NBE's struggles in the tournament.

I actually expected this. I watched the ovc championship and was amazed at Morants game. As soon as I saw the bracket i thought really????!!!! Morant is going to smoke us. Woj will never reach a sweet 16 at marquette he needs to go. Anyways just a bad showing for the league 1-3. The PAC 12 has as many wins.... Yikes!!

I really hope this isn't the beginning of a trend for the league. Nova has been carrying the whole league with the exception of X but coach left so its up in the air if they will be able to replicate that success. I really don't see any way of fixing this. Not even adding UCONN would help. The coaching and recruiting is just not up to par with the power leagues. Nova is the only exception.

I saw most of the 2nd half. Morant is the real deal. Looked like Marquette was doing things today that they never ran all year... like posting up Theo John for an 8 foot hook shot. Where did that come from? Or the inability to hit a layup. Or missing a dunk. Sam Hauser struggling to gather a basic rebound. Or Howard driving the lane and instead of putting up a floater he dished to John. Little movement on offense. No picks to get Howard open. WTF? So frustrating to watch.

Tough loss for Marquette...another year the Big East craps the bed in the tourney including my own Johnnies who had no business even making it. We are proving naysayers right that we are Nova and that's it unfortunately. I know it was a down year but other conferences have down years too and perform better. I think Marq always seems to be too finesse and not athletic enough. They are a live and die by the 3 type team. When they don't rain 3's with Howard dropping 30+ they aren't that good. Everything fell for them against us and they blew us out...nothing fell last night and they got blown out. They need some real guards, not guys just chucking from half court. Get guys who can drive and finish. Get guys who can play above the rim to balance the shooting.

I just find it funny that Marq fans are calling for Wojo to be fired. In 5 years he got them to 2 tourney appearances (1 of the years they just missed another), a top 10 ranking, won 20+ 3/5 years. Now, relative to who Marq has had talent wise has he done a good job? I would argue definitely not. The guy's had Ellenson, Howard, Theo, the Hauser bros, etc. But the reason it's funny is because if he were a SJ coach, a statue would be erected. He'd be the best coach we've had since Lou most likely.

Think it's fair to say both Marq and SJ deserve more.
