That was some ugly basketball and even then ASU was trying to give SJU a chance, yikes....thanks for the unit I guess.

Something to think about... Since the turn of the century DePaul has more tournament wins than St. Johns.

Some can't take reality. It ain't working as currently constructed. What other team in the Big East would tolerate 32 games below .500 in conference play and all these no show games and zero chemistry? Creighton wanted to fire McDermott and he would've been our best coach since god knows when.

Hate to say it but this was pretty predictable.

Obviously it is easy to pile on St. John's right now, but that doesn't mean its unwarranted. Last night was honestly some of the worst basketball I have ever seen played at this level. I thought Mullin would be a good coach because he has lived and breathed basketball at the highest level. But that team had 0 discipline and I don't think its unreasonable for fans to wonder if Mullin doesn't have what it takes.

Thought Jeff Goodman on twitter said it best last night late in the game... It's official, this has turned into an AAU game.

That's exactly what it looked like.

Obviously all of us wanted a win, but if we had to lose, this was exactly how we needed to lose. We needed to be embarrassed because the team has had so many flaws for too long. The system isn't working and it needs to be fixed.

Let's say if shots were falling and we lost by 2 points in a heart breaker against this mediocre ASU team. Would changes be mandatory? Or would Mullin feel justified in his system and just unlucky to lose?

Just ignoring problems don't make them go away, and we are now at the point where we can finally address them. Time for some much, much needed changes.

Glad we ultimately made the Tournament, because now we will never have to wonder "what if?" like teams on the wrong side of the bubble. But this year is now done and we have been BAD for a solid month.

Nobody on the staff is valuable- including Matt who started strong but has become almost exclusively a transfer coach. If Matt goes to Nebraska, no big deal. If Mullin doesn't step down then I'd say get 3 new assistants.

Dude it's not about reality, you were screaming bloody murder from day one. It's not reality until it actually happens. Go root for Creighton then because you;'re one of those people who will complain no matter what SJU does. Look how you repel actual SJU fans away. YOU REPEL POSTERS AWAY!!!
