Selling their soul for a 12 year deal? Who know what the TV marketplace will be like a decade from now.

Is that football and basketball or just basketball?

$6.94M? Isn't that below expectations? I thought people were expecting around $8-$10M.

Regardless, obviously a nice step up.

Everything. On ESPN + apparently too. Worse than I thought.

A step up from their previous deal, but I'm not sure it's even enough to keep some of the programs from operating at a loss. They were receiving roughly this amount of money yearly with the Big East payouts that are going to end and I know atleast UC and UCONN have been operating at massive losses since forming the AAC. And to have the "majority" of their games on ESPN+ is horrific. really bad deal

I'm curious how they divide it between Navy and Wichita State.

Out of curiosity, what is fox giving each per-school average here in the big east?

Well, look at it this way: the AAC is getting $1B for 12 years between 12 schools for all sports.

Fox's deal with the BE was a 12-year deal for $500 million for 10 schools, obviously driven by basketball and no football.

Frankly, not that they had any leverage otherwise, that is a disastrous deal for the AAC. Simply not enough revenue to support the expense base for every program in that league.
