A10, PAC12, and the WCC ended up stealing bids. OVC, we'll have to wait until the bracket reveal to find out.

It looks like most brackets have 2 out of the following not making the tournament:

NC State
ASU
Temple
St. John's
Belmont
TCU
Ohio State

If I had to guess which 2 teams the committee leaves out, they'd be Belmont and Temple. But ASU and SJU are probably right there with them.

It’s a toss up. Hope they throw St. John’s a bone because of they have more Q1 and Q2 wins than anyone else in that grouping of teams. If they reward that, than St. John’s should at the very least get a spot in Dayton

The Quad 1 wins favors the Johnnies. If they factor in late season losing skids then SJU is in trouble. Depends which factors are weighed the heaviest. I think the most likely scenario is Johnnies getting in and playing in Dayton.

My prediction is SJU gets relegated to Dayton. (Not that they deserve much better). The final heap of crap that will wrap up the past 2 weeks of misery is my 2nd prediction - we’ll get matched up against Ohio State which will basically be a home game for the Buckeyes.

Recency bias is not supposed to be a factor (see ASU last year), and the committee has an established stance on valuing Q1 wins over Q3 losses. If SJU is left out, the committee has probably gone back to the drawing board this season.

Ridiculous home advantages aside (remember when Dayton played in Dayton), I don't think Dayton is a bad deal for most teams involved. Tournament credit is exactly same as R1 games, and you find yourself in a very winnable matchup. But this is the undersized and shorthanded Johnnies, which would be a severe disadvantage against the next foe even if they were to win in Dayton.

Okay the...Let's get 4 bids. Go Johnnies! Do some damage Big East!

so the general thought is these are the 5 teams that most folks are questioning.... SOS- Overall/NC
TCU 52 NET 3-9 vs Q1, 6-4 vs Q2 0 Q3/4 losses 3-7 away 41/118 SOS
Arizona St 63 NET 3-3 vs Q1 8-3 vs Q2 4 Q3/4 losses 6-5 away 70/53 SOS
Temple 56 NET 2-6 vs Q1, 6-2 vs Q2 1 Q3/4 losses, 8-5 away 83/223 SOS
St John's 73 NET 5-7 vs Q1, 5-3 vs Q2 2 Q3/4 losses, 4-7 away, 73/218 SOS
NC State 33 NET, 3-9 vs Q1. 5-0 vs Q2. 2 Q3/4 losses, 4-6 away, 179/353 SOS

4 of the 5 getting in….

if NET is used heavily- St John's may be in trouble. The big number for them vs Temple and Arizona St is their record away from home.
If SOS is big- NC State is flat out dead. The worst SOS of anyone.

Belmont and Temple being in does not bode well for SJU....
