I don't know Hall's history of blown calls, but you guys have had 100X more success than we have the past few years. It's a lot harder to swallow this when our fan base hasn't had anything to cheer about in years. Every time we find a bit of success, it always comes with an *. Start 12-0? No credit due to easy schedule. Beat Duke and Nova? No chance at the Tournament. Make the Tournament? CO suspended for weed. It's ridiculous.

If we still end up making the Tournament, then this game won't be seen as a big deal. But for now it's really tough to accept the outcome.

I think we beat Marquette just because of the sheer desperation the program feels after losing this game. The fans at CA will be rocking because no one can really stomach an 0-2 start when one of the losses was a choke job + rig job combo

Seton Hall the big winner yesterday.... Not just what you think- but also Maryland due to the Seton Hall win along with a good win over Radford jumped up 9 spots to #42. Also, SLU jumped up 9 spots to #64.

I hope you’re right. I’ll be at the game on Tuesday night. Really need a win to remove the bad stench from last night.

Kentucky beating Louisville helped too. Of course SHU has a loss to Louisville that offsets it a little, but the Cards would have to tank pretty hard to turn into a black spot on the Hall's resume. It's better to see the Kentucky win get as impressive as possible

I been saying it all along, if we lose @ SHU, Tuesday becomes a must win.
Now the pressure is on us. Absolutely can't start 0-2

Seton Hall is not a very good team and they were exposed in the 1st half. They are not a tournament team. Why? They won't win consistently. They will knock off a few good teams but lose lots of close ones too. Last night was terrible for the league because St. John's was coming in as a potential Big East Champ. Seton Hall was picked about 7th preseason. It's terrible for the league.

Tomorrow would have set up a potentially #25 St. John's vs. #15 or so Marquette. Now our momentum is dead and every pundit will be saying "SJ is a paper tiger, they just lost immediately to SHU!" all because of the worst reffing ever. LJ made a fantastic play and the game was ours. We never start off well in conference play and to already get our first loss 100% because of the refs is infuriating. Mullin will be fired after this season when we don't make the tournament.

Okay I changed my mind, I feel bad for Johnnies fans except Mayhem. With ridiculous takes like that, I'm actually laughing at his misery.

I’m glad you can separate him from the rest of the fans lol. Seton hall is a good, and exciting team that is OVERACHIEVING. That is something that St. John’s never does. We never overachieve, so I think mullinmayhem is just projecting his feelings of jealousy on seton hall for doing more with a team that was under estimated before the season.

Good luck to you guys, my beef is with the refs last night, not with your team and your program. You are doing a great job
