It boggles my mind Oregon is in his bracket and with a bye... They lost to Texas Southern at home also UCF way too high. But really Oregon? Jesus. Providence is better than them.

I cleaned up a bunch of lunatic Stever rants that were written in this thread and in others on this site recently.
The guy shows a complete lack of respect for so many on this board.
He's lashing out this week in particular cuz his favorite conference got absolutely annihilated in their bowl games, completely crushed and totally dismantled.

And I'm doing this for his own good.
Needs new hobbies, or needs a girlfriend or boyfriend.
Needs to travel.
Needs to visit Europe.
Needs to visit Bora Bora.
Think about volunteering in his community.
Maybe spend time with an elderly relative, or a young niece or nephew.
Maybe Habitat For Humanity.
Maybe adopt a cat or dog.

No human should spend so much energy on this site, 20 thousand posts, and the other in the tens of thousands, especially writing mostly incoherent or babbling thoughts, and doing it with such anger and dislike of everything and everyone here.

It's affecting me and probably all of us at some level. I've been very busy lately and in my free moments i haven't been on this site as much, and I've realized that it's mainly because i spend 45 minutes a day approving his posts, then i spend 45 minutes aggravated over reading his bullsh-t lies and incoherent spin and numbers manipulation and cherrypicking and all that. I don't have time to respond to it all. Our HLOH motto or catchphrase should be Joe Pesci in "My Cousin Vinnie" when he walked up to the jury box, pointed at the prosecutor, and said "everything that guy just said is bullsh-t". This has been going on for what, five years? Enough... a couple of years were kinda maybe sorta interesting on a sanity-check devils-advocate level, but this is now absolute lunacy.

And understand that I don't dislike Tulsa or UCF... I just could not give a f-ck about them... I'm positive that UCF fans don't care about Providence either. Just f-cking leave us alone.

I follow college hoops for enjoyment. Love the game, love following the Friars, love the Big East, love the other 9 schools in the Big East, love Big East non-conference games, love Big East regular season games, love the Big East Tournament, love the Big East coaches, love the Big East arenas, love the Big East talent, love our FS1 coverage and telecasts, love watching Diallo Ponds Powell Booth Govan Akinjo Hankins Baldwin Howard Alexander Jefferson Strus and Paul Reed and everyone else, love New York, love the competition no matter the outcome, love Villanova's two National Championships in three years. All that and more.

I don't like watching a game and worrying about whether Providence can only beat Siena Holycross Stonybrook URI Fairfield Brown Bostoncollege fill-in-the-blank, not because of what it does to our ranking, but because i am guaranteed that our resident douchebag will cook f-cking numbers and carry-on with some bullsh-t and make my HLOH experience f-cking miserable, and then i get insulted by the ass-hole either here or at the other site and I've f-cking had enough. And i got f-cking banned at that other site after 8 years of no problems, so f-ck him when (not if) he cries on the other board...

I think i speak for a lot of fans here.

I just don't get the love for Seton Hall- calling them a little low. I mean they have 1 really good win- that's Kentucky. Also have 1 pretty bad home loss in Saint Louis.

Look at 9 seeds LSU and Purdue and compare it to Seton Hall's resume. If the tournament started today, I'd argue Seton Hall is an 8/9 matchup.

Thank you Billyjack. You definitely speak for me. Your post sums up my thoughts perfectly. Big East hoops is a wonderful escape for me. There is so much awfulness in the world right now and taking a little time each day to read this site is a wonderful distraction. I like to read opposing views but Stever is just a tool. It’s pointless to argue with him because he constantly moves the goalposts to satisfy his personal narrative and he rarely responds to people calling him out on his bullish-t, he just posts newer bullish-t.

I feel for the moderators. As a reader, I can just skip his crappy posts. You guys are stuck reading each one. Ugh.

Paraphrasing one of his Cuckoo's Nest posts: Incoherent, but to the effect that Seton Hall is screwed cuz they have one good win, vs Kentucky (who stinks), and yadda yadda.... i think Sacred Heart was mentioned at some point. A lot of spittle and frustration from him. Maybe eight posts. Three were cut-and-paste jobs. Even reading in the Gilbert Gottfried voice didn't help. i got on at 1am or so to get some Big East news and buzz while getting a snack and hadn't been here all day, and it was like walking in an open field with Canadian Goose shit littering the area... i couldn't avoid the poop nuggets and couldn't step around them. Instead the clown wants to place the conference on a spinning hamster wheel, in a never ending pursuit of whatever-the-f-ck he's babbling about...
