But really.....Sacred Heart??.....That was truly unwatchable.....
it was the Harlem Globe Trotters playing the "fix" game against whoever they are going/could beat by 50.....(and the announcer said that ST.J's has never not beat them by at least 35)
I turned it off after Ponds tried the between the legs football bounce pass on the fast break cross court for about 40 feet......REALLY????
Let's revue......Vill played CT.....Prov vs. Texas.....Seton vs. Maryland.....MU vs. Buffalo.....even DePaul vs. Boston College....AKA....GAMES OUR CONFERENCE SHOULD BE PLAYING!
I realize Mullen has a lot of new pieces and is trying to coalesce a team....But at an RPI SOS of 210 and KenPom SOS of 341????? and we all know the KenPom is more accurate! This is an EMBARRASSMENT !
Shoot next week.....Seton Hall and Marquette are in no win situations.....Either way....We play St. Johns and WIN or LOSE.....Our SOS goes down not because of who we played.....But who St. John"s has played or more importantly.....FAILED TO PLAY!
With this new NET......Out of Conference schedule's should be approved by the league office for MINIMUM QUALITY......Because this schedule is BIG EAST substandard......

He had the players and with their schedule they could have been like Nova. Maybe Steele isn't cut out for this. They sure do miss Kaiser Gates though he would have been their best player. He has a couple 4 stars coming next year but I'm not sold on him. I would have gone after a midmajor coach like the guy who is at Buffalo.
